im a child of the 80s so i love both of these flicks but dark crystal wins! one of my favorite movies as a kid and one of my favorite movies now at 31 years old. there will never be another jim henson! amazing movie-everything about dark crystal is perfect. i love the puppets and they most definently dont make movies like this anymore.
